DDB Remedy and McCann Health among 2016 Rx Club winners

And McCann Echo takes home the prestigious Carveth's Way Award

The Rx Club ShowThe winners of the 30th annual Rx Club Show have been revealed, with six agencies taking home gold awards for excellence in creative healthcare advertising and promotion.

Among this top tier is DDB Remedy for its migraine awareness campaign on behalf of GSK Consumer Healthcare, 'Excedrin The Migraine Experience'.

Picking up the gold in the commercial campaigns category, DDB Remedy's project used augmented reality so non-sufferers could experience migraine symptoms and improve their understanding of the condition.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide won the gold prize in the drug education - doctors category, taking home the creativity excellence award for its 'ALK Progression' campaign for Ariad Pharmaceuticals.

The campaign targeted healthcare professionals to build broader awareness of the risk of acquired resistance in non-small cell lung cancer.

The top spot for product website - promotional or educational was taken by Intouch Solutions, who created the 'You Don't Know Jack About MS' site for Teva Neuroscience.

Partnering with TV personality Jack Osbourne, the website provides educational resources for people living with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, as well as blogs and videos by patients.

Among the 12 silver winners, TANK took home an award for its 'Personalized Super Hero Comic Book' for Pfizer's growth hormone brand Genotropin, while CDM New York's 'The Face of a Fighter' for Biogen and Arnold Worldwide's 'A Gut You Can Live With' for Viberzi also won.

Meanwhile, McCann Echo bagged the prestigious Carveth's Way Award, which recognises each year's most 'out of the box' creative work.

The US-based agency, which is part of the McCann Health group, won the top prize for its 'Toddler Tips Sleep Campaign' on behalf of Monmouth Medical Center in the hospital advertising category.

The campaign was designed to make adults think about their sleeping habits and promote nightly routines to encourage potential patients with sleeping problems to register with the client's medical centre.
