Doctors.net.uk launches network of networks

Doctors.net.uk has launched Networks in Health, an international alliance of online physician communities operating across multiple geographies.

The online network of medical professionals will initially focus on Europe and already comprises over 600,000 physicians.

Physicians who are members of these communities will be able to learn and collaborate and will be encouraged to be active contributors to some of the world's most vibrant healthcare networks.

Networks in Health offers organisations such as pharmaceutical companies access to research and engage with physicians internationally.

medeConnect, an independent division of Doctors.net.uk, is acting as market research and insight partner to Networks in Health.

Richard Adams, chief executive of Doctors.net.uk, said: "In recent times, the productivity of traditional sales and marketing channels in reaching physicians has declined and digital alternatives are increasingly being utilised to excellent effect. This alliance goes one step further by joining the key networks in Europe and offering those wishing to research or engage physicians with a straightforward solution."
