FCB Health Europe takes aim at strategy development

Adds three new directors to the team

FCB Health Europe has poached McCann Health’s chief strategy officer, a move that will see the company secure strong talent, and an even stronger strategic plan.

Michael Le Brocq

Michael Le Brocq (pictured above) joins the comms giant as its European strategic planning director, a role in which he brings 23 years’ experience in healthcare communications.

FCB Health Europe’s president, Joerg Hempelmann said the aim is to have talent in every key European market by the beginning of next year, and with Le Brocq at the helm of strategy development, the goal seems achievable.

Hempelmann adds: “I am so incredibly pleased that Michael is joining FCB Health Europe and will oversee strategy and planning across the region. With his vast experience on both the agency and client sides, he’s developed an expertise that extends across all major healthcare categories,”

“This robust understanding of the business challenges of our clients will upscale our offering massively. Michael also has the clear objective to further build out our team with fantastic talent like.”

Further adding to the aim, Izzy Huzzey (pictured below) joins the team as a strategy director after most recently serving as UCB’s comms lead.

With her degree in immunology, Huzzey has 12 years of healthcare experience built upon a robust science foundation. She started her career at TBWA and worked at both Langland and Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness before moving to Shanghai, where she worked with both Publicis and McCann Health across China and the Asia-Pacific region.

From there, Huzzey moved to UCB Biopharma in Belgium, where she worked initially as European brand lead for CIMZIA, before taking on a role in the UK as head of country communications.

Completing the new line-up as group account director is Fiona Cheetham (pictured below), who previously served in the same role at Cello Health Cypher.

She brings more than 20 years experience in healthcare communications to the team, and has a background spanning sales, medical education, PR and brand communications.
