Fishawack has appointed two new industry experts to its group: Linda Harris and Jo Jarvis

Fishawack has appointed two new industry experts to its group: Linda Harris and Jo Jarvis.

Industry veteran Linda Harris joined the US team in September 2010 as vice president, Stakeholder and Thought Leader Strategies.

The appointments follow Fishawack's recruitment of eight new starters in March.

Linda's 30 years of experience in pharma sales and marketing includes positions at Sandoz, Novartis, and Wyeth (now Pfizer), where she was assistant vice president of the Opinion Leader Relations department.

In addition, Jo Jarvis recently joined the Fishawack UK team as director, Stakeholder Strategies. Jo was at Wyeth for more than 20 years, most recently as head of Advocacy.

Building on their working relationship, the two will be serving as faculty at the upcoming Centre for Business Intelligence conference on May 24-25 in San Diego, titled 'Inaugural West Coast Forum on Defining Compliant and Effective Interactions with Thought Leaders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to Support Product Development and Commercialisation.'

An online stakeholder relations portal will also be developed and executed later this year.

According to Fishawack CEO, Oliver Dennis: "There is an unfulfilled need for a standardised approach to managing these important relationships, and we're excited to be able to pioneer these services through the unique insight of our experienced industry professionals and in-house experts."
