Former Tonic Life Communications directors Stéphanie Bunten and Lee-Ann Cameron have joined forces to launch boutique health and wellness agency Iris Life Communications.

The new UK agency will cover international and domestic public relations, medical communications and consumer health PR, and aims to offer clients with a personalised approach to integrated communications.

Bunten, founder and managing director of Iris Life Communications and former Tonic managing director, commented: “We have a unique focus on the ‘Science of Life’, a fusion between the medical science of health and wellbeing, and the relationship science of interactions.

“Understanding both these elements provides us with a unique perspective to deliver engaging campaigns in this changing millennials to baby boomer healthcare landscape.”

Bunten’s co-founder, and joint managing director, at the Shoreditch, London is Lee-Ann Cameron, was formerly an associate director at Tonic, before setting up Iris Life Communications after a short spell freelancing.

Cameron added: “With our 30-plus years of healthcare communications experience working across the spectrum of consumer health to big pharma, paired with our scientific backgrounds, we bring a high level of understanding, insight and creativity to communications initiatives.”
