Hanover has opened up a new office in the Middle East following its appointment to a number of ‘high-profile’ projects in the UAE.
The communications and public affairs consultancy’s Dubai office will be led by its managing director Jonty Summers.
He arrives at the agency from Edelman, where he served as the regional director for its corporate practice in South Asia, Middle East and Africa, and was based in the Middle East for eight years.
Summers said: “Hanover’s ability to provide regional businesses and their leaders with specialist corporate communications and strategic public affairs intelligence and counsel to help them navigate complex challenges of regional and international business is unparalleled.”
He will be joined in the Dubai office by associate director Keri Sutherland, who will relocate from Hanover London’s corporate team.
The Middle East launch follow’s the opening of Hanover’s Dublin office in January, and – in healthcare – the December unveiling of a new market access practice in London.
