Havas Health launches new agency group, Havas Lynx

Combines Havas Life 4D and Creative Lynx into a new, single entity

Havas Health has combined two of its agencies, one UK-based and the other from the US, to form a new agency that will be known as Havas Lynx.

The move merges Manchester, UK-based Creative Lynx with US shop Euro RSCG Life 4D to create what Havas says will be a “unique, full-service agency offering, rich in digital experience and innovation”.

Havas Lynx will have offices in New York, Manchester and London and sit as a third brand under the Havas Health umbrella, alongside Havas Life and Health4Brands.

President of Havas Lynx will be the chief digital officer and partner of Havas Health, Larry Mickelberg.

“Technology is completely changing the health and wellness landscape,” he said. “Launching Havas Lynx is more than a rebranding – it's the formation of a new group designed to help create and connect the new health ecosystem, through which all future consumer, patient, and healthcare professional journeys will happen.”

In Europe, four of Creative Lynx's senior executives, David Hunt, Neil Martin, Dave Whittingham and Steve Nicholas, will lead Havas Lynx.

“How we all experience healthcare is evolving, and will continue to do so,” said Hunt, digital director, Havas Lynx Europe. “We are committed to transforming outcomes in the interests of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Informed by our experience, and driven by innovation, the combined expertise of the new group will deliver a seamless experience for all stakeholders.”

Having earned a name for their award-winning work, which saw the agency pick up five of seven nominated category wins at the PM Society Digital Media Awards in 2011, Creative Lynx was acquired by the Paris-headquartered Havas network earlier this year.

The other element of the new Havas Lynx, Euro RSCG Life 4D, was created in the spring of 2009 as a digital shop and led by president Paul Velardi until 2011.

With the announcement of the new Havas Lynx digital enterprise, Donna Murphy, global CEO, partner, Havas Health said: “Combining two strong existing agencies to create a groundbreaking agency group that leads with digital really speaks to our culture of entrepreneurialism and the pursuit of getting to the future first.”
