Havas rebrands Euro RSCG network

Global rebranding exercise is intended to unify Havas agencies, with all Euro RSCG Life agencies now coming under a Havas Health (formerly known as Havas Worldwide Health) umbrella, and with Euro RSCG Life becoming Havas Life

As part of the global rebranding exercise, Euro RSCG Life agencies will take the Havas Life name. The agencies comprise 60 offices in 50 countries including what is now known as Havas Life Medicom (formerly Euro RSCG Life Medicom). In tandem with the changes, the Euro RSCG network itself is being renamed Havas Worldwide. 

Havas states that the rebrand will not create any changes in leadership. 

The Directory recently reported the news that Ben Davies had been appointed European CEO of what was then known as Havas Worldwide Health, now Havas Health.

On the rebranding announcement, Ben Davies said: “Our healthcare clients in Europe are increasingly regionalising their communication strategies, and value Havas Health for being a strong network that delivers efficient service integration. Changing our name highlights our unified offering and how we work, but our deep expertise in healthcare communications and passion for creativity that generates award-winning work remains the same.”

“While the new names better reflect our structure, the rebrand is also a welcome opportunity for us to re-introduce our best-in-class health and wellness networks and all that they bring to the table for clients,” added Doug Burcin, global CEO, partner, Havas Health. 

Havas says that the rebranding reflects a new business model that is intended to offer a simple, clear and agile structure, placing digital at the core of all its activities and agencies, unifying creative and media assets and strengthening visibility of its global brand by renaming its largest network. 

“A decade ago, we set ourselves apart by being the first major communications holding company placing digital at the core of all our creative agencies,” said David Jones, global CEO of Havas. “I think we’re once again pioneering through the integration of creative, media and digital. Today with the rebranding we’re making a small change, but it’s one we want to use as a catalyst for driving big change through Havas and the broader industry.”

Donna Murphy, global CEO, partner Havas Health said: “Rebranding the Euro RSCG Life network to Havas Life is a natural step in streamlining the Havas Health structure and, for clients, more clearly demonstrates our unified offering and shared culture. For any message to stick with today’s customers, they need a singular, consistent brand experience, and the new branding is as strikingly memorable and unified as we are.”
