HEAL International has added several new agencies to its network of independent healthcare media agencies.
The new agencies are Medical Promotion in Greece, Ruiz Nicoli in Spain and Portugal, Poland’s Alfa Communications and the Czech Republic’s Ariston PR.
Athens-based Medical Promotion specialises in business development, R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs for health-related companies. Ruiz Nicoli is based in Madrid, with sister agency Ruiz Nicoli Lineas in Lisbon. Alfa Communications and Ariston PR are based in Warsaw and Prague, respectively. HEAL member agencies can now be found operating in 19 countries.
The growth in membership reflects HEAL’s expansion plans. The organisation is hoping to attract member agencies from Russia, Asia and South America, according to German representative Matthias Haack, managing partner of WEFRA advertising agency in Frankfurt.
“We will expand our market share in Europe in the coming years. And long term, we aim to hold a leading position in specialist media planning and buying for the healthcare segment,” he said.
The member agencies meet regularly to exchange views on the international healthcare market, country-specific market trends, business models and cross-market strategies.
“These meetings contribute to an even closer networking of HEAL members,” said Haack.
“An important advantage for our customers is the international co-ordination, the stringent media guide, the bundling of purchasing volumes and the competence of the best healthcare media partners in each country”, he said.
