IPG Mediabrands creates healthcare agency

New global life sciences division Healix launched in the US

IPG MediabrandsInternational media agency group IPG Mediabrands has launched a new healthcare offering focused exclusively on life science and healthcare brands.

Based in New York with affiliates across the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, the new agency – called Healix – will provide pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare clients with media planning strategies created using innovative data analytics tools.

Henry Tajer, global chief executive of IPG Mediabrands, said: “Healix is an evolution of our best-in-class services.

Jeffrey Erb will lead the new venture as president of its North American operations, joining the agency group from Alliance Life Sciences where he served as its senior vice president and managing director.
