indigenus_logo_no_taglineIndigenus, the largest independent global network of healthcare creative agencies, has announced that MedMedia Campaign, based in Dublin, Ireland, is now one of its 16 member agencies.

It is anticipated that MedMedia Campaign will open new markets for Indigenus. Clients include Amgen, Abbott, Merck Serono, Cephalon, Novartis, Boehringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, Pfizer, Leo, Lilly and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Florian Bernsdorf, co-chairman of Indigenus, said: “We are thrilled to welcome MedMedia Campaign. As we continue to expand our network, they bring true innovation and strengthen our ability to serve both local country affiliates and global teams across all regions.”

John Gibbons, managing director of MedMedia Campaign said: “MedMedia Campaign has been a trailblazer in Irish healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising since 1995. We developed, for the first time in the Irish marketplace, a truly specialist agency with expert staff that understand the specific needs of pharmaceutical clients from both a business and creative perspective.”

Gibbons added: “It’s an honour for our agency, and a recognition of our international reputation, to be invited to be the sole Irish agency within the ever-expanding global network of leading agencies that together comprise Indigenus.”

Fiona O’Hara, business development director with MedMedia Campaign, said: “The pharmaceutical industry is ever more global in its outlook. Integration of digital strategies requires ever-closer coordination between local and global teams. National agencies like MedMedia Campaign bring in-depth understanding and insights on the realities of the local marketplace, but joining forces with a global creative alliance takes our business to the next level and will better equip MedMedia Campaign to service the ever-evolving needs of our clients.”

Local agency partners collaborate closely from prelaunch through life-cycle management, blending insights and creativity from across the globe, a process Indigenus calls ‘global fusion branding’.

The Indigenus network spans major and emerging global markets, providing pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with innovative multichannel global branding, advertising, medical education, and medical communications.
