Polish contract research organisation KCR has relocated its head office from Warsaw to Berlin in a move it said would allow it to better serve its customers.
The CRO, whose new base will be in Mitte [pictured] – the historical centre of the German capital, also expects its new location to aid the expansion of its services and operations.
Mike Jagielski, KCR’s president and CEO, said: “This is an important step to further implement KCR’s business growth strategy. The establishment of a new head office in Berlin builds upon our previous decisions on strengthening the company’s footprint in Western Europe.
“Moving to Germany is a response to our clients’ expectations regarding KCR’s strong presence in Western Europe. It will also allow us to further diversify the KCR talent pool to support our customer-focused approach.”
KCR’s new Berlin head office will serve as its management and business development centre and the CRO’s Warsaw office will continue to be run as its operational hub.
