KYNE expands presence to London

Joanne Wunder to lead its European offering

Specialist health communications agency KYNE has today announced it will expand to London, UK.

KYNE’s headquarters is based in Dublin, Ireland, but the group was prompted to establish a greater presence in Europe due to the emergence of multiple new European-based clients in the pharma and non-profit sectors.

Joanne Wunder, the group’s head of Dublin office, will serve as managing director and head of Europe, reporting into founder and CEO David Kyne.

Wunder (pictured above) will lead both the Dublin and London offices, with the latter base located in Hammersmith in the Foundry building.

“The appointment of Joanne and our expansion to London is exciting for many reasons, including the ability to tap into a strong talent pool in London under Jo’s leadership, which will further strengthen our European presence,” said Kyne.

“Having partnered closely together over the past 18 months, I am thrilled to have Jo lead the charge in servicing our growing roster of global biopharmaceutical and public health clients based in Europe and to develop and foster our expanding team.”

Prior to joining KYNE, Wunder served as European Managing Director for PR at inVentiv Health (now Syneos Health), leading a portfolio of agencies to provide strategic brand communications to biopharmaceutical clients.

She also spent time at Ogilvy Healthworld, where she led global brand and disease awareness campaigns.

She said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to come on board in this new capacity and to help further establish KYNE’s European offering.

“We have a strong team of passionate, creative communications professionals, and a nimble, flexible approach to health challenges that is truly differentiating. We see exciting opportunities for growth in both locations in Europe and we are committed to expanding the team and taking on new challenges.”
