Expands reach in UK, Asia Pacific and Middle East

Lucid Group, a global healthcare communications agency, has acquired consultancy HealthCare21. 

Currently, Lucid has five subsidiaries in its group – Bluedog, Leading Edge, Lighthouse, Lucid partners and ViVid. The most recent acquisition was of Bluedog, the London-based digital and creative agency, in February 2019.

We have developed a reputation for excellent strategic consultancy, impactful medcomms, digital excellence and creative execution. HealthCare21 brings further scientific and editorial expertise to increase our offering to our clients and bring more opportunities for our teams,” said Dennis O’Brien, co-founder and CEO, Lucid Group.

HealthCare21 has been producing healthcare materials and programmes for clients for over 23 years. It’s UK office is based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, with additional offices in Singapore and Dubai.

The new relationship will see Lucid expand its offering and develop its expertise. It will gain a significant presence in the North West of the UK, where HealthCare21 has its headquarters. The presence of offices in Singapore and Dubai will also allow expansion into these location.
