M:Communications launches Consilium

Will be headed by Mary-Jane Elliott and Amber Bielecka

Consilium Strategic Communications

M:Communications has launched spin-out business Consilium Strategic Communications to provide dedicated strategic communications advice to the healthcare sector.

Headed up by managing partner Mary-Jane Elliott and co-founder Amber Bielecka, Consilium will work with international healthcare companies, spanning the public and private sectors and across pharma, biotech, medtech and healthcare services.

Elliott has 15 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and set up and led M:Communications’ international healthcare team.

Amber Bielecka ConsiliumBielecka (pictured right), in addition to being part of the healthcare team at M:Communications, was a member of the pharma and biotech team at Citigate Dewe Rogerson. She also has a background in lobbying, with experience in both Brussels and Washington DC.

Elliott and Bielecka will be joined later this month by partner Emma Thompson, who will run the company’s Asian operations from Singapore.

The new company will offer the same broad range of specialist communications support offered by M:Communications’ healthcare team to its clients.

Consilium’s remit will cover financial communications, cross-border transactional support, reputation management and crisis communications, along with guidance on corporate and social responsibility strategies.

Clients range from healthcare services sector leaders and multinational pharmas to technology start-ups, via charities and government bodies.

“The launch of Consilium Strategic Communications allows us to intensify our focus on our clients with our dedicated sector approach and to provide unmatched capabilities across all levels of the healthcare sector on a truly international scale”, said managing partner Elliott. “I am proud to be launching Europe’s only healthcare-focused financial PR and IR company.”
