NHS Salford holds first Twitter interview

The first ever NHS Twitter interview generated discussion from 58 contributors and contained over 240 tweets

NHS Salford (@NHSSalford) has conducted an interview entirely through Twitter, representing the first ever NHS Twitter interview. Appropriately enough, the subject of the interview was NHS engagement in social media.

The interview, hosted by Reputation Online (@rep_online) was held between 13.00 and 14.00 GMT on June 17 and kicked off with the question "Where's the incentive to start using social media coming from? Within? Or externally?" from Vikki Chowney (@vikkichowney) - editor of Reputation Online.

In the space of an hour, the interview (or 'Twitterview') generated discussion from 58 contributors and contained over 240 tweets.

To read the interview in full, go to Twitter and enter the hashtag #NHSSM
