Novartis appoints Timothy Wright global head of pharma development

Wright moves to the role from the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR)

Timothy Wright has been promoted to global head, development at Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Wright has been with Novartis since 2004 and most recently served as senior VP and global head of translational sciences at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR).

Prior to joining Novartis he worked for Pfizer Global Research and Development as the exploratory therapy area leader for inflammation and also served as chief of the division of rheumatology and clinical immunology.
