Oxygen, a new health communications agency, that aims to help clients to better understand, and interact with, their stakeholder environment, has been launched.
Richard Oakley, an experienced healthcare communicator, who worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries before moving into health communications over 12 years ago, founded the company. He has previously worked at several leading companies including Chandler Chicco Agency, Edelman, Fleishman-Hillard and Porter Novelli.

"Pharmaceutical and biotech companies are facing a unique set of challenges at this time. In addition, the health communications environment continues to evolve rapidly. I want to help the industry develop a more thorough understanding of the new environment, working more closely with its key stakeholders, to help ensure future success," said Richard.
Oxygen has developed a series of stakeholder analysis tools enabling the company to develop strategies and programming that maximise the results of communications activities.
The agency plans to work on projects with charities and non-profit organisations as well as with industry clients.
