Former joint owner and managing director of Publicis Life Brands Resolute Paul Blackburn has launched a new executive-level search firm called People Gallery.
The new company aims to seek out promising individuals and opportunities in the marketing services industry across PR, advertising, medical education and digital with a particular focus on health.
Market research identified a lack of insight amongst executive search and recruitment companies into factors required for individuals to succeed in agency and in-house communications, which Blackburn wished to address.
He commented: “I have started People Gallery because industry leaders have told me they need recruiters working on their behalf who have worked at a senior level in agencies and in-house, who know exactly the type of person needed for each role, and who have the contacts to find them.
“It’s insight that has to have been earned and can’t be learned from outside the agency world.”
Blackburn will provide free career management advice to seek those looking to progress to be leaders and influencers.
He continued: “For candidates, I’m in a unique position to advise on their situation and the opportunities they should seek, in order to benefit from developments in the market.
