Prof Tevor Jones oversees Synexus scientific advisory board

Steps down as chairman at clinical trial research firm in favour of Alan Pilgrim

Alan Pilgrim has taken over from Professor Trevor Jones as chairman of clinical trial research firm Synexus.

Jones will continue on the company's board as a director and becomes president of Synexus' scientific advisory board.

Pilgrim, a chartered accountant by training, has extensive experience in the healthcare services area and recently retired as group chief executive of diagnostic imaging services company Alliance Medical.

Prior to this he worked at Match Group and was chief executive of Community Hospitals Group and group managing director of BNA, now known as Nestor.
