Random42 celebrates at Cannes Corporate 2017

Wins gold dolphin award for Defending LIfe: The Immune Ecosystem

gold award

Scientific communications group Random42 picked up a prestigious gold dolphin award in the medical films category for its work in medical animation at the 2017 Cannes Corporate Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the French awards celebrate work in corporate films, online media and TV productions, inviting agencies around the globe to submit entries for a chance to win a dolphin award, which comes in gold, silver, black, blue and white.

The ceremony – which was founded by Filmservice international in 2010 – saw 176 trophies handed out this year, one of which was for Random42’s Defending LIfe:The Immune Ecosystem for its client Amgen.

The animation – which has won platinum at last year’s Creativity International Awards and silvers in the W3 Awards, the Summit Awards and The Communicator Awards – takes the viewer on a journey through the body focusing on immunotherapies attacking cancer cells.

Also rewarded in the Cannes Corporate Awards’ medical films category were Dutch firm Frontaal Film, which picked up a gold dolphin for Committed to Freedom: a look inside a forensic psychiatric centre, and Switzerland’s Sonova for Life without limitations – The story of Tianjiao (Jiaojiao) Zhang.
