Razorfish Healthware agency has formed a strategic partnership with London-based Stamplay to create a customised healthcare version of its app software.
Publicis agency Razorfish said the collaboration would allow it to “optimise the app creation process for both pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers”.
Roberto Ascione, president of Razorfish Healthcare, said: “The attention of the healthcare industry towards mHealth is palpable and there is no doubt this will be an area that will see a massive growth in the coming years.”
He added that working with Stamplay - which allows developers to streamline the creation of client-server web and mobile apps - would also allow the agency to offer a viable framework to health tech start ups.
Nicola Mattina, co-founder of Stamplay, added: “We are envisioning a version of our platform to enable large organisations in the healthcare industry to accelerate the testing and implementation of web and mobile applications that will be used by patients and doctors to for more effective prevention, improve disease management and adherence to treatment, and so on.”
mHealth continues to develop and mature, particularly in the consumer sector where, most recently, Apple launched its own HealthKit developer tools to drive the next stage of its mobile health technology.
