Sebastian Stokes from Red Door Communications took home the Young Achiever – Specialist prize at this year's Communiqué Awards in recognition of his ability to lead teams, demonstrate return and explore innovative channels.

There was particular praise for the investment he made during 2012 in furthering opportunities for pharma to engage with digital and social media, developing digital programmes for his clients that are highly measurable and implementable and that have changed behaviour.

As Red Door Communications' first digital lead, Stokes proved to be a hugely valuable team member who inspires and motivates all the teams he works with.

“Sebastian is quite simply one of the best digital leaders we've ever seen. He is a very intelligent lateral thinker, who has a clear, patient and enthusiastic approach to what he does - and what he does is incredibly impressive,” the Communiqué judges said.

“He has a remarkable track record and has chosen to move ahead with a career in this field, as a specialist, and is without doubt heading for the top.”

The Communiqué Awards 2013, which took place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on July 4, is run by PMLiVE publishers PMGroup. The programme is specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence and best practice in local, European and international healthcare communications.
