red kite consulting group is to become part of MSI Consultancy following the acquisition of red kite by Cello Group – a global marketing group with a focus on the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, whose members include MSI.

The merger brings together two specialist healthcare consultancy firms, forming a combined team of 20 employees offering various consulting, research and strategy services across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

The newly formed group will be jointly headed by Jon Bircher, managing partner with MSI, and Jonathan Dancer, manager director with red kite.

Dancer emphasised the benefits of the merger for existing red kit clients: "We are really excited to be working with our colleagues from MSI as part of a larger business with global reach and tremendous range. Current clients of both organisations will be able to access a wider diversity of consulting talent, offerings and services, delivered by project teams that draw on an even wider base of expertise."

Bircher commented on the merger 's effect on the future of MSI: "The coming together of these two complementary businesses is another important step towards our mid-term growth plans to double the size of the team and triple our revenues over the next three years."
