Roche: new board appointments

Roche has announced it will appoint three new directors to its board at the 2011 annual general meeting

Roche has announced it will appoint three new directors to its board at the 2011 annual general meeting. The appointments will include Nestle CEO Paul Bulke, Shell CEO Peter Voser and Lufthansa CEO Christoph Franz.

As expected, Walter Frey will leave the board and Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, CEO of OMV will not be standing for re-election.

Board members Bruno Gehrig, Pius Baschera, Lodewijk de Vink and Andreas Oeri will be put forward for another term. Roche added that, for future nominations, it will propose the term of office be reduced from three to two years.
