S&H appoints director of account services

John Marchese has been appointed executive vice president and director of account services at Sudler & Hennessey(S&H)

John Marchese has been promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president and director of account services at Sudler & Hennessey(S&H).

He will be responsible for ensuring that the account service team is appropriately staffed and trained to deliver the highest quality work, providing clients with strong insights and strategic execution. He will partner with the S&H creative, strategic, and digital leadership, with a focus on developing strong and effective marketing ideas for clients. 

Louisa Holland, co-CEO The Americas, said: "John joined the S&H family and was quickly recognised for his strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. He has taken brands to new levels with his insight and understanding of disparate disciplines such as managed care, patient-relationship marketing, medical education, and public relations."

Marchese joined S&H in 2000 as a traffic coordinator, and worked his way up through account services. His experience includes work on Astra, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Galderma Laboratories, Colgate-Palmolive, Biogen Idec, and Wrigley. 

John left S&H for a short stint at DraftFCB, where he was the lead account person on Cialis (tadalafil) and Valtrex (valacyclovir). He returned to S&H within a year, and has been growing within the organisation ever since.

"We will be working with John to ensure cohesiveness, communication, and support across the group so that the S&H brand is delivered consistently to all our clients, and that all account service staff have opportunities to build their skills and their roles within the organisation," said Rob Rogers, co-CEO The Americas said.
