Teva has celebrated entering the third year of its You Don’t Know Jack About MS campaign with the launch of a new supporting website.

Launched on World Multiple Sclerosis Day last week, the website features new content, resources and a documentary series featuring the namesake of the campaign, MS sufferer and reality TV personality Jack Osbourne.

The docu-series with Osbourne, who takes big-selling MS drug Copaxone as part of his treatment, chronicles his journey with relapsing-remitting MS, designed to help patients and caregivers learn how to deal with diagnosis and live with the disease.

Osbourne said: “I have a personal interest in developing the new You Don’t Know Jack About MS website to make it as helpful and relatable as possible for those living with MS, like myself.

“Since my diagnosis three years ago, I have found so much satisfaction in helping others better understand MS, and I hope the new content inspires others who are living with MS to take an active role in how they manage their disease.”

This year, You Don’t Know Jack About MS also plans to unveil two additional web episodes and blog posts from Osbourne addressing subjects including diet and fitness, stress management and how he plans to discuss the disease with his daughter.

Guest bloggers including medical expert and Osbourne’s mother, Sharon Osbourne, will also contribute posts on their perspectives of MS and living with the condition.

Peter Damari, VP of programmes and services at the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA), commented: “Living with MS can be challenging at times, so it’s important that people with MS have access to relatable and reliable information.

“MSAA’s mission is to improve lives today for the entire MS community and we applaud Jack for his openness and commitment to raising awareness for this disease. MSAA is proud to partner with Jack and Teva and provide our educational content for the You Don’t Know Jack About MS programme.”
