Lucid’s ‘Thirsty Thursday’ pitch session

Lucid

Lucid Group’s new internal offering centred on pitching last week, and was hosted by the agency’s managing director Louise Verrall.

The session involved a discussion around what makes a perfect pitch with the key takeaway of creating magic to deliver tangible and compelling results.

The agency said: “When our clients approach us with an RFP, we must think about their core needs. They want us to provide insights and to find solutions to their challenges – and that’s what we provide them with, along with a touch of Lucid magic.”

Star reaches milestone

UK-based pharmaceutical outsourcing group Star has turned 16 following new leadership appointments this year along with a rebrand.

Managing Director, Dave Faulkner, said: “I’ve spent time over the last few days with both Tim and Lucy – the founders of Star – and the values and spirit they instilled within the business remain in our DNA as we mark our 16th birthday.

“We continue to grow and develop a pace with now over 350 employees in the Star family across the UK, Ireland, and into Europe. It’s a privilege for me and the leadership team to continue to take our Star business forward.”

The company was acquired by Uniphar back in 2015, allowing for a greater multi-channel capability and access to data and analytics services.

Head of Business Development, Ryan Wooller, said: “It’s great to celebrate 16 years of delivering impact for our clients! Star is an exciting place to be at the moment as we continue to develop our services and approach”.
