Trio depart Reynolds-MacKenzie to set up new comms agency

Experienced trio have launched new company akt health communications

Anna Radnavale, Katy Foy and Tim Cockroft  have left their senior roles at Reynolds-MacKenzie to set up their own specialist healthcare agency, akt health communications.

The founders say their new venture will provide pharma and life sciences companies with senior-led, bespoke communication programmes focused on ensuring patient access to advances in healthcare.

The trio have worked together at the helm of Reynolds-MacKenzie – the PR division of the OPEN Health Group for over a decade, assisting the launch of some of the industry’s highest-profile brands.

Commenting on their new venture, Founding Director at akt health communications and former Managing Director at Reynolds-MacKenzie, Anna Radnavale (pictured above, right) said: “In today’s turbulent environment we know just how important effective communication is in delivering access to medicines, technology and care that can change lives.

“Clients can, and should, demand personal expertise at every step of their journey and this is what we deliver. Our experience, relationships and unique knowledge place akt health communications in the perfect position to help clients overcome challenges and achieve success. We are a team with incredible heritage and today marks the start of an exciting new era. We eagerly look forward to what lies ahead.”

Anna Radnavale joined Reynolds MacKenzie 12 years ago as the company’s first employee, and rose to leading a team of 30 healthcare communicators at the specialist agency. Taking on responsibility for the company’s financial performance in the last year, she also co-ordinated launch and market access programmes for numerous blockbuster brands across many disease areas.

Katy Foy (pictured above, left) has over a decade of experience in healthcare public relations, working across ethical and consumer brand campaigns, as well as corporate and medical device communications. Katy has led some of the biggest healthcare media campaigns, including a campaign that was awarded Highly Commended for best media relations in the 2017 Communique Awards.

Tim Cockroft left Reynolds-MacKenzie as Director after nearly a decade driving some of the highest-profile international and UK campaigns in ethical healthcare. He has led large-scale agency teams, developing award-winning campaigns across a diverse range of therapy areas. He specialises in regulatory and market access communications, delivered through advocacy and media relations.
