The Nuffield Trust host its Annual Health Strategy Summit 2011 today as the King's Fund holds its conference on telehealth.

The Annual Health Strategy Summit 2011, hosted by independent health policy analysts, the Nuffield Trust, continues to Thursday March 3. It offers a platform for key figures in UK healthcare to present ideas and take part in discussions about challenges to the NHS, with a focus on the reforms described in the Health and Social Care Bill.

Key speakers include Health Secretary, Andrew Lansley; Dr Jennifer Dixon, director, Nuffield Trust; and Stephen Johnson, head of long term conditions, Department of Health.

The King's Fund conference on telehealth is a congress to discuss telehealth – the delivery of healthcare using telecommunications technology. Speakers include Moira McKenzie, national telecare programme manager, Joint Improvement Team, Scottish Executive; and Jon Linkous, CEO, American Telemedicine Association.

The telehealth conference runs until Thursday March 3, with The King's Fund providing a live video stream of the event.

Follow both events on Twitter too with the hashtags #ntsummit for the Nuffield Trust Summit, and #kftelehealth for the King's Fund telehealth conference.
