ULTRA Health Technologies expands into US

Nitro Digital-owned agency opens New York office

Nitro DigitalNitro Digital-owned ULTRA Health Technologies has opened its first US office, in New York.

The first – and so far only – member of staff in the new office is US account director Martina Campbell. She will focus on the promotion, management, and establishment of the ULTRA suite of tools in the US, group account director Vicki Jakes told PMLiVE.

Nitro will add to its New York team in the coming months, said Jakes, but in the meantime Campbell will be supported by a UK-based development and marketing services team. She joins Nitro from Havas Worldwide.

“We're really excited to have Martina join us. We have had a working relationship in the past with her, so know that she will relish the challenge of being our pioneer out in the US,” said Jakes.

Jakes said that Nitro Digital is “a fiercely ambitious company” and its expansion into the US is part of a larger worldwide drive. She added that the company chose New York because “when you think of US health tech, New York is the first port of call”.

“We want to ensure that we are part of this fast growing ecosystem,” she said, adding that having a New York office would enable the company to provide an on-the-ground service to existing US clients.

Nitro Digital has been supported in its New York move by UK Trade & Investment, confirmed Jakes, who added that the company hopes to expand into Asia next.
