Veeva's iRep combines CRM & CLM on iPad

Veeva Systems has announced the launch of iRep, an innovative CRM and CLM solution developed specifically for the iPad

Veeva Systems, a specialist pharmaceutical industry cloud-based CRM solutions company, has announced the launch of iRep, an integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and closed-looped marketing (CLM) solution developed exclusively for the iPad.

iRep is an integrated solution that leverages the iPad's technology, and combines Veeva's CRM functionality with streamlined CLM capabilities. The iRep solution includes a content viewer that allows effective presentation of e-detailing materials, video content and data.

In an exclusive interview with PMLiVE, Dan Goldsmith, general manager, Europe at Veeva Systems said: "We are very confident that the adoption will be strong. We've already seen a number of indicators within the industry where pharma in general and reps have adopted the device [iPad] as well as the application." He went on to say that Veeva has already seen an uptake of iRep from five of the leading pharmaceutical companies. 

Goldsmith explained that sales forces would require minimal training in order to use iRep as the application makes use of the intuitive functionality and bespoke navigation (such as swiping and pinching) of the iPad itself.

Veeva has launched iRep in partnership with Intouch Solutions, an interactive pharmaceutical marketing agency. The specifications for developing detailing materials for iRep will be made available to client's content partners.
