Wilmington Healthcare enhances digital platform

Healthcare intelligence provider Wilmington Healthcare has introduced new features to its digital learning platform, which allows pharma and medtech sales staff to keep abreast of NHS developments.

Powered by Wellards, the Digital Learning Academy has refreshed content, offering a range of interactive online learning courses with video functions.

Courses on offer include What you need to know about NHS England's plan for ICSs and ICOs, which addresses how integrated care systems and integrated care organisations will start to replace Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships.

Gareth Thomas, Managing Director of Wilmington Healthcare, said: “Our Digital Learning Academy plays a critical role in helping pharma and medtech sales teams keep abreast of the latest developments in the NHS and ensuring they remain compliant with the industry code and data protection legislation.

“The changes that we have introduced will further enhance the learning experience for our users by offering them a greater range of courses. It will also make it easier for them to learn anywhere, anytime, and for their managers to track progress.”


McCann recognised at IPA Effectiveness Awards

McCann UK was named Effectiveness Network of the Year at the 2018 IPA Effectiveness Awards, a competition that encourages entrants to prove the payback of their communications activity.

It was the first time the network accolade had been won by the agency, and Mark Lund, chief executive officer, McCann Worldgroup UK, said: “Being recognised for great ideas that deliver real business results is the ultimate accolade we strive for. To be honoured in this way is absolutely fantastic and recognition of the tremendous hard work that takes place to achieve this, in collaboration with our brilliant clients."


Random42 Partner with MedCity for BioJapan 2018

Random42 has partnered with MedCity to attend BioJapan, an annual biotech conference which facilitates interaction between Japanese and global companies.

The aim is to showcase the latest in scientific animation, scientific virtual reality, augmented reality and interactive experiences to forget collaborations between Japanese pharma and academia.
