Following on from Genetic Digital’s highly success digital workshop and “Digital DNA Test” – its specialist mobile app development division, Genetic Apps is running a free mHealth strategy workshop designed to help pharma and healthcare providers understand how they can capitalise on the market opportunities being offered by the growth in mHealth & mobile apps.

Why most apps fail?

There are estimated to be around 100,000 health, fitness and medical apps available, and the mHealth market is set to grow to become a multi-billion dollar industry. Even Apple recently announced that it’s going to launch its own health app called Healthbook.   However, apps are being developed by healthcare and pharma companies with no sound business strategy behind them and have been viewed purely as a ‘box checking exercise.’ These apps fail to provide solutions to the key challenges facing the healthcare indsutry and offer little or no practical value to either healthcare professionals or patients.

What will you learn?

In our workshop session we will share the latest data on the health apps market and we will demonstrate how these new technologies are helping to shape new medical models and a healthcare ecosystem.   We’ll also discuss the market opportunities that exist for your organisation and how you should go about developing a successful mobile app that will yield cost savings and revenue enhancements for your business. We’ll take you through compliance and ways in which you can promote and track the performance of your app too.
