Empowered patients improve outcomes

This white paper co-authored by our own Caroline Benson and Guy Yeoman, MediPaCe, discusses why non-adherence is occurring, how patients’ can be better engaged with their conditions and treatments and provides examples and results of patient engagement in action.


Non-adherence to medication is not a new global healthcare concern but with more people living with long-term conditions the problem is increasing[1]. A difficult problem to solve, this multifaceted phenomenon[2] can have a variety of negative effects for society and for the individuals involved.
