Pharma & life sciences division growth allows Pegasus to fill three new senior positions

Pegasus has expanded its pharma & life sciences senior team by appointing a new Associate Director and promoting two members of the existing team to Account Directors.

Owing to exceptional growth, Pegasus, an Ashfield company part of UDG Healthcare plc, has expanded its pharma & life sciences senior team by appointing a new Associate Director, James Osborn, and promoting two members of the existing team to Account Directors: Yasmin Ghariani and Megan Hollingdale.

James joins Pegasus having spent a decade working in health communications, both in-house and within consultancies. His role includes overseeing several key global and UK pharma accounts, driving new business, and working with the senior team to build the division in line with the company vision to inspire healthy decisions. James joins from 90TEN Healthcare where, among his accolades, James managed communications for the launch of the world’s first biosimilar monoclonal antibody. Prior to agency, James worked in-house at Leo Pharma.

Pegasus is also pleased to announce the promotion of two existing team members to Account Directors. Yasmin Ghariani joined Pegasus in February 2013 from Spink and was recently promoted after nine years in the communications industry. Megan Hollingdale, formerly of Spink and FleishmanHillard, received her promotion after two years at Pegasus and with four years’ previous experience in the sector. Both Yasmin and Megan have shown exceptional client management skills and have brought great value to their respective accounts and the wider pharma and life sciences division.

Jo Spadaccino, Director and Head of Pharma & Life Sciences at Pegasus, commented: “Since the pharma and life science team took true form back in 2010, we have grown from a handful of people into the twenty plus team we are today who offer fully integrated health communications. Our success is dependent on our people and their passion to deliver against our mission to inspire healthy decisions. We warmly welcome James to the team, and congratulate Yasmin and Megan on their well-deserved promotions.”

Pegasus was recently acquired by UDG Healthcare plc and will join Ashfield Healthcare Communications, part of the Ashfield Commercial and Medical Services division.
