Lucid Co-founder and COO discusses the changing landscape of healthcare communications

- PMLiVE
In May’s issue, Jan Steele (Lucid co-founder and COO) talks to PME about the importance of demonstrating value with medical education via validated improvements in patient outcomes. Jan explains that raising awareness of new data and delivering messages is simply not enough, instead we need to be more curious and analytical in order to deliver education that changes physician behavior and demonstrably improves outcomes.

Jan discusses the evolving science and evidence surrounding behavioural change and her hopes for the future – where advances in technology, such as wearable technology will provide accurate measurements of real patient outcomes.

Jan also reflects on the importance of recognising excellence at the Communiqué awards and assesses what the future holds for Lucid, a three-time winner of Med Ed Agency of the Year award – “we want to lead the industry in terms of knowledge around changing behaviour. We want to lead the field in terms of implementation of medical education that changes behaviour”
