Lucid’s Summer Fridays Shone

- PMLiVE

Lucid Group has been enjoying long weekends throughout the summer thanks to Summer Fridays, a concept introduced in line with Lucid’s agile working policy.

Employees have been encouraged to spread their hours throughout the week, enabling them to leave at 2 pm on alternate Fridays in July and August.

Summer Fridays have been used for a vast array of different purposes, allowing employees to help out at school summer fetes, and catch earlier flights on holiday. Our Bluedog team made great use of the longer weekend by kick-starting their stag-do earlier! Others simply used the time to take some well-earned rest and relaxation. We have also had a few Lucid babies born over the summer, with one even arriving on a Summer Friday!

Angela Young, HR Director commented, “At Lucid we are committed to agile working. Summer Fridays have allowed everyone to optimise their work-life balance by managing their workload to give themselves a little more weekend.”

If you like the idea of joining a progressive company who offer agile working, tailored work contracts and innovative ways to support your work-life balance then get in touch.
