Vivid MedComms bolster their business with a new senior appointment

A new hire for Vivid MedComms, part of the Lucid Group of companies

Vivid MedComms, experts in rare and speciality diseases, part of the Lucid Group of companies, has strengthened their senior client services team with the appointment of a new Associate Business Unit Director, Derek Annan.

Derek is an experienced med comms professional with a strong scientific background, including two post-graduate qualifications – an MSc in Pharmaceutical Technology from Kings College London, and a PhD in Biotechnology from Cranfield University. 

Derek started his med comms career with ICC Health (then BrandX), before moving his way up through the ranks in Apothecom, Virgo Health and most recently Cogora, where he held the position of Client Services Director. Derek has a wealth of expertise in rare and speciality diseases such as hypophosphatasia, Duchenne’s muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, cystinosis and other rare oncological and genetic disorders.
