GCI Health launches The ZEST Project to find the next generation of health communicators

GCI Health is on the hunt for the UK’s top graduate talent after announcing that applications are now open for the agency’s annual graduate recruitment scheme.

3 May 2016 – London, UK – GCI Health is on the hunt for the UK’s top graduate talent after announcing that applications are now open for the agency’s annual graduate recruitment scheme. Now in its second year, The ZEST Project aims to find bright, creative and passionate new graduates; offering one individual the chance to join GCI Health’s London team.

A 2016 PRWeek UK Best Places to Work Gold Award winner, GCI Health will provide its newest graduate intake with a nurturing environment to begin their career in health communications, while challenging them to deliver at the highest level for an impressive roster of clients.

“We’re focused on finding the most outstanding young talent to join our agency but equally view The ZEST Project as an opportunity to improve awareness of health communications as a career option amongst graduates,” said GCI Health Director, Rikki Jones.

“Diversity is important to us and we’re interested in uncovering and supporting the career development of graduates from various backgrounds, beyond just life sciences and communications. What matters most to us is intelligent curiosity.”

Eschewing the standard application processes, The ZEST Project invites interested applicants to harness their creative side by developing a short video about themselves, alongside a brief written submission.

“The application process is a great opportunity to show us what you can do – our advice for applicants is to be bold, let your personality shine through and above all showcase your passion for health,” Jones added.

Those who impress most will be put through their paces during a day of specially designed workshops and induction sessions at GCI Health’s offices in central London before the successful candidate is selected.

“Graduating can be a confusing time with so many different career paths on offer, however I would urge any students considering a career in health communications to take part in The ZEST Project,” said Peter Style, a Junior Account Executive at GCI Health who was recruited through last year’s graduate scheme. “Since joining the agency I’ve learned so much and don’t think I could have found a more supportive place to start my career.”

Applications for The ZEST Project open today, closing on June 30, ahead of the successful applicant starting their full-time role this September. All application details can be found via http://www.gcihealth.com/europe.
