2016 brings new faces to emotive

emotive appoints Chloë Duval as the new Head of Copy, and Elise Payne joins as a Team Assistant.

Following a large pitch win encompassing creative brand development, medical education and patient engagement at the end of 2015, emotive have expanded the medical copy team with the appointment of Dr Chloë Duval as the new Head of Copy.

With ten years of experience in medical research, writing and editing, Chloë joins emotive from Grey Healthcare Group, where she was Senior Medical Copywriter. Chloë conducted breast cancer research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, before completing a PhD in Developmental Biology and Embryology at the University of Manchester. She has written for a number of organisations and publications, including the Society for Endocrinology and Nature Genetics, and was Developmental Biology Editor at Fastbleep. Her move into medical copywriting began at Paling Walters, where she worked on a number of major brands. She then led the women’s health accounts at Frontera, before joining Grey.

Also joining emotive, as a Team Assistant, is Elise Payne, who was most recently the Social Media Account Coordinator at Retortal. At emotive, Elise will be supporting the Account Management Team to ensure that they continue to deliver the highest quality work and client services.

Commenting on Chloë’s and Elise’s appointments, emotive’s Experience Director Andy Hastie said:

“The past few years have been particularly exciting for emotive. After winning a number of large EU- and global-level projects across multiple disciplines, we moved to larger offices to enable us to expand the team and enhance the working environment. We work hard, blending science and technology to create healthcare communications and platforms that are focused on real patient outcomes. For this we need to have a world-class team, and the appointments of Chloë and Elise, and other appointments we’ll be making over the next few months, reflect our commitment to continue creating award-winning projects throughout 2016.”
