Lucid are bringing magic to the North West with three new hires

- PMLiVE
Lucid Group are spreading their magic to the North West with three new hires, bolstering their client services and delivery teams. Helen Hutton is appointed as Business Unit Director for Leading Edge, David Burton joins as Programme Director and Clare Bibby as Senior Account Manager.

Helen’s strong commercial and scientific expertise means she is the perfect candidate to take on the role as Business Unit Director for Leading Edge, one of the Lucid Group of companies. Helen will be based in Macclesfield and oversee the team who are spread across both the North West and Buckinghamshire sites.

“I’m thrilled to be joining such a progressive organisation. Their pioneering and human centric approach to med comms is refreshing. To be surrounded by people with such talent and ambition is truly magical.”, commented Helen.

David also brings a wealth of medical communications experience, having started his career as a medical writer after completing his PhD and a three-year post-doc in Oxford. David then made a lifestyle decision to move up North to Macclesfield in the knowledge that it was fast becoming a Northern med comms hub. Whilst there were lots of agencies offering great opportunities, Lucid’s move to the North meant it soon become David’s company of choice.

David commented, “I’ve always admired Lucid’s approach to medical education – delivering pioneering programmes that achieve measurable behaviour change outcomes. I was also drawn to its strong team culture; the chance to be part of the rapidly growing team in the North West was an opportunity I couldn’t miss”.

Clare is also an experienced med comms professional with expertise in digital healthcare learning. Clare said, ‘’I am delighted to be joining Lucid and work with people who share the same vision and passion for what we do. I’m looking forward to putting Lucid’s behaviour-change methodology, Advance Outcomes, into practice and make a difference to patients’ lives.’’
