- PMLiVE

Three new graduates have joined the Lucid Group family ahead of the launch of the 2020 Futures Academy in January.

Having completed a Natural Sciences degree from Lancaster University, Tom Harrison joins Leading Edge. Tom’s experience lies in oncology, immunology and neurological disorders. During his studies, Tom also worked in the chemicals industry as an information scientist for a regulatory compliance company. Tom comments, “I want to use my scientific knowledge and creativity to improve patients’ lives, and Lucid is the perfect place to do that. Lucid’s commitment to innovation, improving patient outcomes and employee wellbeing is inspiring!”

Phoebe Glass joins Bluedog after completing her degree in Human Biology from the University of Birmingham. Over the summer Phoebe worked on an ambulance as part of a clinical trial for a new biotech chip, testing for purines in the blood to diagnose stroke. During her time at Birmingham University Phoebe was the university newspaper’s online editor for Science and Technology. She comments, ‘My initial few weeks at Bluedog have highlighted how much Lucid group cares for their staff which is reflected in how dedicated the team are to ensure they produce only their very best work. I’m excited to get stuck in!’

With a MRes in Clinical Research and experience of diabetes, obesity, energy metabolism and public health, Alex Mann joins Vivid. Alex has previous experience within MedComms having previously worked both within Lucid Group and ApotheCom. Alex comments, “I am very excited to work with Lucid. The company has such a fantastic culture everyone seems to love their job. I am also really looking forward to working on programmes to improve patient outcomes and experiences in a wide range of disease areas during my time on the futures programme”.

The Futures Academy is an annual programme, so if you want to be part of something magical, get in touch. It’s the stuff of dreams.
