Lucid Group are keeping wellness front of mind

October 12, 2020 | Lucid, Medical Communications, Wellbeing

- PMLiVE

It’s important to make sure that people are supported and encouraged to practice self-care throughout the year. This is why Lucid Group has been reminding its teams of the LucidBeing tools in place to help them on their wellness journey.

Owen Davies, Senior Editorial Assistant, and one of its newly trained team of Mental Health First Aiders discusses the importance of mindfulness and breathing. “ For me, as many of you know, I particularly find mindfulness and meditation an important part of sustaining a healthy mind. And also as a useful rescue remedy, for when times get particularly tough. We are all facing challenging times at the moment and this makes finding time for self-care difficult. So, my top tip is to use any time you would have previously used commuting or going out to buy a sandwich or taking time at the coffee machine, to practice some mindfulness.”

Owen’s guide is to breathing and meditation can be downloaded here.
