Lucid Group welcomes new magical talent and boosts their medical writing teams with hires in the US and UK

Lucid group welcomes four new additions to their medical writing family, with new hires across the UK and USA.

Sonal Adhav joins Lighthouse Medical Communications US as a Senior Scientific Director and will be based in Lucid Group’s office in New York. Sonal has a strong background in strategic communications, specialising in oncology and immunology. “I am excited to join Lucid and be a part of a company which is dedicated to transforming the lives of patients and their staff,” she comments.

Hazel Urwin joins Lucid Partners as a Scientific Director. Hazel has eight years’ experience in medical communications with particular expertise in the fields of neurology, immunology and rheumatology. “I’m excited to be joining a company with such a great culture and clear vision for creating industry-leading and patient-centric programmes.” Hazel remarks. Hazel will be based in Lucid’s Farringdon office as well as working from home, making use of Lucid’s agile working initiative.

Richard Ogilvy-Stewart also joins Lucid Partners as a Principle Medical Writer and will be primarily based at home. Richard is a presentation skills trainer with over ten years’ scientific writing experience, specialising in data visualisation. Richard comments, “I’m thrilled to be joining a growing business that has such an entrepreneurial and energetic culture.”

Finally, Lucid Partners welcomes even more medical writing talent as Andrew McDonnell joins them as a Senior Medical Writer based in Lucid’s Chiswick office. With three years’ healthcare communications experience, and a wealth of knowledge in epilepsy, immunotherapy and oncology Andrew comments, “I have had a very fulfilling first two months at Lucid; the team are welcoming and inspiring. It’s exciting to be working for a company so dedicated to patient outcomes and focused on innovation and creativity in the ever-changing healthcare world.”
