Ashfield Healthcare Communications expands across the UK and Europe

Ashfield Healthcare Communications signals significant growth with new office openings in Dublin and Glasgow.

Ashfield Healthcare Communications, today announces significant growth across the UK and Europe. Ashfield Healthcare Communications has a new presence in Dublin, Ireland, joining the office of Ashfield Ireland and parent company UDG Healthcare while the company has also doubled the size of its current operations in Glasgow, Scotland, with a move to significantly larger offices in the city center. Ashfield Healthcare Communications currently has approximately 1,000 staff across 23 healthcare communications agencies.

The expansion has been fueled by strong growth for the company and a desire to attract new talent into a thriving business across both key cities. The expansion to Dublin establishes Ashfield Healthcare Communications as a leader amongst the small number of healthcare communications agencies in Ireland. Ashfield Healthcare Communications previously expanded its Glasgow offices in 2016 following a series of new business wins and multiple new hires, the move to the modernized Regent Street office will provide state-of-the-art office space to further grow the team.

Richard Lawrence, Executive Director at Ashfield Healthcare Communications, said: “The expansion to Dublin is an incredible opportunity for Ashfield Healthcare Communications. We have been able to relocate staff to their vibrant home city and the move has meant that our remote workers already living in Ireland have a local hub to connect with our growing team of talented individuals.”

Susan Browne, Medical Writer, who has moved back to her home city of Dublin, said: “It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to move back to your home city without having to look for a new job. It’s wonderful that Ashfield Healthcare Communications is continuing its expansion and that I’m able to be a part of that growth. It has been exciting moving into the Dublin offices and welcoming new members to what is already a very talented team.”

Rachel Forsyth, VP Medical & Scientific Services who heads up the Scottish team, said: “We are incredibly excited about the continued growth, it has been less than four years since we began our Glasgow operations but the team has gone from strength to strength, and this move will allow us to double our presence yet again. We believe that Glasgow is a key location that will help us attract yet more great people into our thriving and vibrant healthcare communications business.”

Viv Adshead, President at Ashfield Healthcare Communications, said: “We are delighted to announce the continued expansion of our operations in Europe. Following the success we have enjoyed in Glasgow, drawing on the great talent in the city, it makes sense to continue to build our team there. In addition, we have established a team in Dublin and we are extremely proud to be at the forefront of global healthcare communications in Ireland.”

If you’re looking for an exciting career with a growing and vibrant healthcare communications agency in the Dublin or Glasgow area, do not hesitate to get in touch via email, and we’ll be happy to talk to you about the great opportunities available.
