Eoin McAtamney announced as Managing Director of Ashfield Ireland

Ashfield Ireland is delighted to welcome Eoin McAtamney as Managing Director.

Eoin joins Ashfield from Fresenius Kabi in Ireland where he was National Sales Manager. Prior to this, Eoin was Business Unit Director (UK and Ireland) with Pharmed Group, where he managed the Pharmaceutical & OTC division in Ireland and led the successful entry and development of the business into the UK market.

Previously Eoin has gained sales experience in both the pharma and CSO environments. Eoin holds a BA Hons Business Administration, an MBA degree and diplomas in digital marketing and health economics. Eoin is also currently President of the Pharmaceutical Managers Institute (PMI) in Ireland.

Commenting on his appointment, Eoin said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join a company as exciting and innovative as Ashfield. Ashfield has built up a strong reputation in the market, characterised by the quality of both the people and the service it provides.

With experience managing commercial and clinical teams in a number of different environments, I understand the challenges in ensuring the patient experiences the best possible outcomes, as well as the operational sensitivities in the current market.

I’m really looking forward to working with the team in Ireland to grow our existing business, and working in partnership with our clients to further develop innovative, patient-centric services.”

Nigel Mansford, Regional President Ashfield Commercial and Clinical EUCAN, said:  “Ashfield Ireland has established a market leadership position as a result of the highly-skilled, bespoke teams it provides and its continued commitment to quality and results. Eoin has a leadership style and customer focus which makes him a great fit for Ashfield and I look forward to seeing the impact he will have on the Irish business.

Eoin will also bring his experience and ideas to the EUCAN management team, contributing to the direction and growth of Ashfield as an international provider of outsourced healthcare services.”
