Summary of work

Eighteen percent of all online searches are healthcare related, yet nearly all of the content created by pharma and health and wellness brands is not optimised. Search engine optimisation (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) is a global communications discipline that dominates media landscapes globally yet to date has been widely ignored by pharma marketing and communications functions.

The team behind the specialist agency, Search Unlimited, identified an opportunity to build a team that could bring SEO and SEM to the pharma sector, providing valuable information to consumers when they need it most. Pulling together a team of healthcare specialists and technical SEO practitioners Search Unlimited was launched in April 2015, with the mantra of bringing simplicity to search, whilst highlighting the positive impact and financial returns a well-thought-out search strategy and programme can deliver.

By December 2016 we had delivered over 30% profit margins, acquired over 16 clients, delivered impressive results for campaigns at a domestic and global level and shown demonstrable benefits and conversions for clients in an area where it is routinely hard to measure success.

Judges’ comments

Search Unlimited are a different, creative and impressive agency. They are compelling in their vision and impact. They are still a relatively new agency and the judges look forward to seeing how their benefit to clients and staff engagement develops and grows.
