Summary of work

The 2020 Young Achiever of the Year should be someone who has already demonstrably made their mark on their particular field of choice – and I am just that person. In a mere five years and nine months, I have delivered a magnitude of practice-changing medical education, helped establish a profitable division among a global MedComms company and been elected to the Board of Directors for a global non-profit organisation dedicated to best practice in the field. In doing so, my work has had a measurable impact on patient healthcare (eg outcomes measured via an RCT) and has directed practice change in the wider medical education industry.

My digitally focused skill set and analytical expertise has allowed me to identify entrepreneurial opportunities for education across various therapy areas. By pairing interactive outreach programmes with microlearning environments, such as social media and podcasts, my content has reached over 972,000 healthcare professionals. Funders, societies and KOLs alike have recognised my contributions as you will see within this application, and I’m just getting started. Through my passionate and tireless efforts to improve patient healthcare via independent education, I have made a clear mark on the healthcare communications industry, demonstrating why I deserve this award.
