From delivering the Nuffield Trust’s policy engagement programme to leading MHP Mischief Health’s largest client portfolio, Maddy’s strong heritage in communications and in-depth knowledge of health policy has delivered results for her clients, their businesses and the patients they serve. Across her career in health policy and communications to date, she has led programmes that have unlocked more than 15 policy reforms in six countries, including improving women’s reproductive healthcare, prioritising improvements in chronic respiratory disease care, and shaping the future resilience and sustainability of global health systems.

With a genuine passion for improving the culture and diversity of the health communications industry, Maddy leads by example as an openly LGBTQ leader, and has made significant contributions to workplace inclusivity, team culture and improving BAME representation in her agency. As the youngest ever member of MHP Mischief Health’s senior team, and a track record for delivering significant programme growth, Maddy is viewed as an emerging future leader, crucial to future growth and expansion of MHP Mischief.

Maddy’s entry for Early Achiever demonstrated fizz and enthusiasm. The minutiae Maddy covered in the time limit was impressive and it is clear to see that she has truly found her purpose and raison d'être. The judges were particularly impressed with how Maddy has used her own past experiences and translated them into furthering tangible policy change. Maddy’s press set an excellent example to future applicants.
